Flores Island

Flores is one of the island in East of Nusa Tenggara Provine (Flores, Timor, Alor  and Sumba ).Flores is taken from Portuguese Flores = flower, with total of area 14.300 km².Flores ethnicity is a mixture between the ethnic Malays, Melanesians, and Portuguese. Because once a Portuguese colony, then the interaction with the Portuguese culture is very pronounced in cultures of Flores, either through genetics, religion, and culture.

Majority religion in flores is Catholik. Catholik Roma (54.14%), Protestan (34,74%), moslim (9.05%), Hindui (0,11%) Budha (0,01%) other (1,73%) for East Of Nusa Tenggara.
